Live broadcast of the total solar eclipse was carried out on August 11, 1999, however due to an equipment malfunction at Bagdere, Turkey, final images of the eclipse could not be sent.
We had been preparing for the live broadcast and tried to anticipate all kinds of problems but unfortunately a problem still occurred. We deeply apologize for the fact that we were unable to provide eclipse images to those we came to this WWW site.
We will be much more careful when carrying out these kinds of live broadcast from now on.
We beg your continued support and appreciate your suggestions. We are now preparing a page with digest images and a digest video. We hope you come to see and enjoy the eclipse through these pages.
